tk10 Mini Baccarat — A Fast-Paced Card Game with Simple Rules
All the fun of Baccarat, but on a smaller table with less complexity — each round at tk10's Mini Baccarat table is over in just a few seconds. Suitable for new players and experienced players alike.
How a Round Works
The core rules of Mini Baccarat are the same as standard Baccarat — the difference is only in table size and speed.
Each round begins with placing bets. The player places a bet on any one of three positions — Player, Banker, or Tie. Once betting closes, the dealer deals four cards across two hands: two for "Player" and two for "Banker".
Card values are counted as follows — Ace counts as 1, cards 2 through 9 count at face value, and 10 and all face cards (King, Queen, Jack) count as 0. If the total of a hand is a two-digit number, the left digit is dropped — so 15 becomes 5. The maximum value is 9.
If the first two cards of either the Player or the Banker total 8 or 9, that is a "Natural" and no third card is drawn. Otherwise a third card may be drawn according to fixed rules — in Mini Baccarat the dealer makes this decision automatically, so the player does not need to think about it. The side whose total is closest to 9 wins.
The mini table normally uses 6 or 8 decks and just one dealer runs the entire table. This means rounds finish quickly and a player can play many more hands in less time.
Bet Types and Payouts
Mini Baccarat has three main bets and a few side bets.
| Bet Name | Payout if You Win | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Player Bet | 1:1 (even money) | If the Player hand wins, you receive an amount equal to your stake. A ৳1,000 bet returns ৳1,000 profit plus your original ৳1,000 back. |
| Banker Bet | 1:1 minus 5% commission | If the Banker wins, you receive an amount equal to your stake, but a 5% commission is typically deducted from the winnings. On ৳1,000 in profit, you receive ৳950 after commission. |
| Tie Bet | 8:1 | If the Player and Banker totals are equal, you win. A ৳1,000 bet returns ৳8,000 in profit if you win. |
| Player Pair | 11:1 | This side bet wins if the Player's first two cards are of the same value. |
| Banker Pair | 11:1 | This side bet wins if the Banker's first two cards are of the same value. |
The payout figures above are the standard rates for a typical Mini Baccarat table. There may be slight differences depending on the specific table at tk10 — check the table details before sitting down at a live table.
House Edge — How Much Each Bet Costs You
Mini Baccarat is one of the more player-friendly casino games because its house edge is relatively low. The house edge is the percentage of each bet that the casino retains on average over the long run.
The Banker Bet has the lowest house edge — even after the 5% commission it is generally around 1.06%. The Player Bet has a house edge of roughly 1.24%. Both of these are lower than most casino card games.
The Tie Bet, however, carries a much higher house edge — typically above 14%. The payout may look attractive, but the chances of a Tie actually occurring are relatively low and placing this bet regularly increases the risk of long-term losses. Pair bets also carry a higher house edge.

Strategy Tips for New Players
In Mini Baccarat, building good habits matters more than any specific skill. Here are some tips for new players:
Live Dealer vs Digital Version
Mini Baccarat at tk10 can be played in two different ways — each with its own characteristics.
Live Dealer Mini Baccarat
Streamed live from a real studio or casino — a live dealer deals the cards.
- A real dealer and physical cards — looks and feels like a real casino
- You can chat with the dealer and other players using the chat feature
- Cards are clearly visible from multiple camera angles
- Table limits are generally a bit higher
- A good internet connection is required
Digital (RNG) Mini Baccarat
A software-driven version — no dealer, cards are dealt by a random number generator.
- Very fast — each round finishes in a matter of seconds
- Play at your own pace, easy to take breaks
- Runs well even on a slower internet connection
- Good for new players learning the game
- Table limits are generally lower

Table Limits — Low to High
One of the biggest advantages of Mini Baccarat is its flexible betting range. The name "Mini" comes from the fact that it was designed with smaller-stake players in mind — where a high-end VIP Baccarat table may require a minimum bet of thousands of taka, the mini table lets you start with much less.
At tk10, digital version tables have relatively low minimum bets, so new players can learn without much pressure. Live dealer tables generally have a slightly higher minimum, but the maximum is also much higher — making them suitable for bigger-stake players as well.
It is good practice to check the specific limits of a table before sitting down. Choose a table that fits your budget — this helps you avoid accidentally placing a larger bet than intended at a higher-limit table.
